Network Homes signs agreement with Redrow on new affordable homes in Buntingford, Hertfordshire
Network Homes has signed an agreement with Redrow to deliver 46 new affordable homes in the idyllic market town of Buntingford. The development will provide much needed affordable homes in an area where it is difficult for local people to get onto the property ladder.
The first phase of the Maples development will be 46 new homes to be completed by the end of 2017. These will consist of one and two bedroom apartments and two and three bedroom houses, with 32 for affordable rent and 14 for shared ownership. The development will also consist of apartments and houses for private sale.
There is easy access to London’s Kings Cross in just under 40 minutes from nearby Royston Station and the development is near to shops, cafes and restaurants in Buntingford itself. With an abundance of green space on the doorstep, the development sits in the heart of the countryside. It also boasts various communal spaces including two large play areas.
Vicky Savage, Executive Director for Development at Network Homes, said: “We are proud to once again be working with Redrow on this stunning new development in Buntingford. The development will provide over 40 much-needed beautiful new homes in the area.”
Rose Sandell Group Partnership Director for Redrow, said: “Our choice of Network Homes to work with us at Buntingford shows our joint commitment to deliver high quality homes across all tenures and create a legacy scheme that we can all be proud of.”
